Sometimes it seems like the longest journey is the 10 to 12 inches from the head to the heart. Based on adaptations from childhood designed to keep our hearts safe, many of us now struggle to access this loving resource that is our birthright.
Healing the Inner Child
We have to consciously study and practice how to be tender with ourselves until it becomes a habit. Right action on the outside doesn’t heal our tender inner wounds. Tenderness on the inside, turning towards our vulnerable places is the medicine needed to heal our child consciousness / nervous system.
Curiosity in the Healing Journey
Healing is a journey, and curiosity fuels the journey. Curiosity is the element that helps us explore the shadow realm, creating space for compassion.
